Kandara Residents Association is a society registered under the Societies Act Cap 108, Laws of Kenya and it comprises a membership of more than four thousand members who live in the environs neighboring all that land Occupied by Del Monte Kenya Limited (hereinafter referred to as “DMKL”). In terms of geographical jurisdiction, the membership is drawn from Kiambu and Muranga Counties where the aforesaid land equally traverses. DMKL is a food processing Company that carries out extensive agricultural and processing activities which together with its predecessors; has been in occupation of the subject land as far back as the year 1895.
