In May 1963, 32 Heads of independent African States met in Addis Ababa Ethiopia to sign the Charter creating Africa’s first post-independence continental institution named it, Organisation of African Unity (OAU).

Historical facts is that by the year 1600 slave trade spearheaded by British autocrats left over 12 Million African dead in the Transatlantic voyage.
The Western Powers grab for colonies was accelerated following the Berlin Conference of 1884.Where 15 countries among them the United States of America in participation of the continent.
British colonisation of over 24 countries in Africa was part of nineteenth-century Western power in expansionism which Western countries imposed political and economic control over Africa territories. This in fact continues to be propagated underneath most African Colonial states that is politically, socially and economically.
Beginning in the 1950s, African colonies began achieving independence—in 1960 alone, 17 newly independent countries emerged—and more followed, with most independent by the end of 1980.
Out of 55 In-dependent Africans countries, 24 are British colony countries, among those African countries the United Kingdom controls and influences.
How can we African in this day and moments be so blind in regards to the British Colonial interests, which is manifested with underhand dealings and fraudulent scheming by United Kingdom government.
Post Brexit: The Colonial system of England continues to indirectly control and rule it's colonies, firstly by tampering with it's democratic process such as Presidential elections where they decide who becomes their appointed preferred President.
